Production Operator

Role & Responsibilities:
· Follow all plant, department, and job-specific safety, housekeeping, and PPE requirements.
· Recognize, report, and correct safety hazards and unsafe acts.
· Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and adjust production equipment to meet quality and production standards.
· Record production, quality, and maintenance information accurately and legibly.
· Perform basic maintenance tasks and properly use common hand tools.
· Work independently and collaboratively to support safety, quality, reliability, and continuous improvement goals.
· Utilize the USG Safety System, including task instructions and LOTO VWIs.
· Submit work requests as needed and support Reliability Performance Model (RPM) initiatives.
· Participate in CI Fundamentals training and identify the 8 Fundamental Wastes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Ability to safely work in a manufacturing environment and follow all safety procedures.
· Basic reading, writing, math, computer, and communication skills.
· Ability to interpret written and verbal instructions.
· Ability to take measurements and verify product specifications.
· Effective teamwork skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
· Knowledge of plant layout and department locations.
· Maintain regular attendance and a reliable means of communication.
· Maintain accurate timekeeping by clocking in and out as scheduled and complying with all attendance and payroll procedures.
· Flexibility to work shifts, overtime, and weekends as required.

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
