CGC Inc. is currently recruiting a Maintenance Electrician for our gypsum plant in Hagersville, ON! This is a permanent position on the day shift, working a 4x 10-hour schedule and every 5th weekend with on-call responsibilities.

Position Description:

• Operate electrical test equipment (e.g., voltmeter, megger, amprobe)

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot motor controls, lighting systems, and advanced control systems including PLCs

• Use infrared camera for preventive maintenance and troubleshooting

• Install and configure VFDs, transformers, and various electrical controls

• CSA standards and electrical code

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Qualifications:

• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing setting and follow safety rules.

• Possess maintenance mechanic or electrician technical skills.

• Maintain high housekeeping standards and properly use hand tools.

• Follow work order instructions and demonstrate teamwork and communication skills.

• Basic computer skills for training and email.

• Willingness to learn and operate required equipment, including forklifts.

Hourly wage: $33.8 - $47.36 (depending on experience)

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
