Product Owner — Customer eCommerce Portal

Role summary
The Product Owner is a strategic leadership role responsible for owning and advancing the digital customer experience (CX) for our Distributor Portal. This includes eCommerce, order tracking, invoices, reporting and a variety of other tools to help our customers manage their partnership with USG.
As a core member of the Digital Transformation Leadership Team, you will help define and drive the portal roadmap, prioritize the backlog to maximize customer value and business impact, and partner closely with developers and cross-functional team members to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of our digital products.
Key responsibilities:
Help define and communicate the Customer Portal vision and roadmap in alignment with company and Digital Transformation goals.
Translate customer needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria and prioritized backlog items.
Serve as the single product contact for the development team and help lead sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
Partner with our UX Lead to validate features with customers (research, prototypes, usability testing).
Drive releases: manage UAT, acceptance testing and stakeholder communications.
Use analytics and customer feedback to measure performance and prioritize improvements.
Evangelize the portal across the organization and train frontline teams and customers
Required skills & experience:
5+ years as a Product Owner/Product Manager, preferably with ecommerce, order management or B2B portal experience.
Proven Agile/Scrum experience and familiarity with backlog tools (Jira) and documentation platforms (Confluence).
Experience with analytics tools (GA4, Adobe Analytics) and A/B testing.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
