POSITION SUMMARY
The Security Analyst – IAM will play a vital role in protecting enterprise assets by supporting and administering the organization’s Identity and Access Management program. This role is responsible for ensuring that access to systems and data is controlled, regularly reviewed, and that all IAM policies and procedures are followed. The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep understanding of IAM concepts, tools, and processes, as well as effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Travel may be required based on business demand.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Administer, support, and maintain IAM systems including user provisioning, de-provisioning, role/permission assignment, and access reviews.
· Monitor, analyze, and respond to IAM-related security events and incidents.
· Work closely with IT teams to integrate IAM solutions with applications and operating systems.
· Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies related to access control.
· Conduct periodic access reviews and audits, and remediate findings.
· Assist in defining requirements and implementing IAM automation and workflow improvements.
· Participate in onboarding of new technologies and applications, ensuring appropriate IAM controls are in place.
· Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
· Support end-users and internal teams by resolving IAM issues and requests in a timely manner.
· Assist in developing IAM metrics and reporting for management.
Job Requirements
-Experience with IAM tools such as SailPoint, Ping and Okta.
-Strong knowledge of IAM principles: authentication, authorization, provisioning, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), directory services (e.g., Active Directory, Azure AD).
-Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
-Provides timely and accurate distribution of information and reports
-May be required to provide 24 hour on-call support
-Works with other groups and departments to develop and implement solutions in a timely manner
-Assists in refining operational procedures
-Creates and maintains documentation for processes and standards
-Performs additional responsibilities as assigned
-No supervisory responsibility
-Works under direct supervision, has limited discretion
-Participates in projects of all sizes
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Required
-Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
-Professional security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent) are a plus.
Years of Experience
-A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in a security business analyst or similar role with hands-on experience with IAM support.
Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
