CGC Inc. is currently recruiting for a Storeroom Clerk for our gypsum plant, based in Hagersville, Ontario.
It's a permanent and full-time position, offering a challenging opportunity for a motivated individual to demonstrate their skills and abilities in a manufacturing operation within a large corporation.
You will work with department personnel to complete all shipping and receiving duties in the surface storeroom. This position will keep the storeroom clean and organized, complete monthly inventory cycle counting and kitting of parts for work orders.
Additional responsibilities:
- Process packing slips in Oracle and EAM, including physical verification of parts received.
- Stock and label inventory, establish new inventory, assign part numbers, and ensure safe access.
- Perform parts kitting and staging with EAM work orders.
- Retrieve vendor parts deliveries, service client store requests, and assist Planners in job scoping.
- Complete routine cycle counting activities and resolve all discrepancies.
- Track inventory usage to adjust min/max levels for inventory optimization.
- Perform storeroom 5S activities and work with the Reliability and Process Improvement departments to identify cost reduction and continuous improvement opportunities within the storeroom.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Post-secondary education is considered an asset.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Previous storeroom experience is considered an asset.
- Capability of becoming a licensed forklift operator for use in loading, unloading and transporting materials.
- Proficiency with computer programs, including Oracle, EAM Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Teamplayer with regular and predictive attendance.

Hourly wage: $36.72
Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
