Reliability General Foreman

Role & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for training, motivating, and maintaining a level of safety for all department employees to provide for an efficient operation consistent with overall company safety objectives.
- Lead the centralized control of maintenance activities utilizing best practices to prevent mechanical and process control down-time.
- Responsible for safety, quality, and cost goal achievement. Responsible for ensuring compliance with the USG Reliability Performance Model. Responsible for the coordination and implementation of all safety programs in the department as well as for various model programs.
- Responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of major maintenance and capital improvement plans.
- Support the development of project scopes, estimates, approval documentation, arrangements, installation strategies, commissioning, and start-up of assigned projects.
- Ability to provide critical feedback and utilize coaching as a proactive means of creating change in others.
- Be able to initiate effective recommendations for corrective actions and next steps as appropriate.
- Use market and industry knowledge to understand the needs of our customers and help solve their pain points.
- Prepare training materials and conduct training as needed. Mentor less experienced personnel as opportunities arise.

Qualifications
- Five or more years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, communication (verbal and written), decision making and employee relations skills within a diverse workforce environment. Motivated self-starter with a high level of organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and effectively manage multiple projects.
- Must have demonstrated abilities to operate within a planned budget and manage costs within established goals.
- Knowledgeable of safety compliance programs with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and housekeeping.
- Basic knowledge of predictive maintenance best practices and technologies utilized to monitor condition of equipment. Basic understanding of Root Cause Failure Analysis and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis to evaluate equipment failures and optimize preventative maintenance practices.

Ability to read and interpret engineering documents, specifications, and prints.
Utilize industry standardized troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
