CGC Inc. is currently recruiting for a General Labourer (Part-Time) for our ceilings plant, based in Oakville, Ontario.

It's a part-time position, offering a challenging opportunity for a motivated individual to demonstrate their skills and abilities in a manufacturing operation within a large corporation.

Under the guidance of the Specialty Foreman, the General Labourer conducts the daily operations of the Specialty Department.

Additional responsibilities of the Production Operator include:

• Perform manual processing, packaging, and housekeeping duties.
• Operate tools and equipment efficiently to produce high-quality products.
• Prioritize safety and housekeeping in all tasks and comply with all safety rules and procedures.
• Promote and enforce safety among team members.
• Work cooperatively in a team and maintain reliable attendance.
• Foster good morale and working relationships within and across departments.

Qualifications:

• A track record of positive safety behaviors, attendance, attitude and work performance with a passion for learning new skills.
• High School Diploma required.
• Prior work experience in sheet metal fabrication and/or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts (average of 20h/ week).
• Proficient in collaborating with team members and maintaining clear, effective communication.
• Capability to work independently

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
