Inside Sales Representative- Pro Dealer
Job Description:
The Pro Dealer Inside Sales Professional is responsible for sales in the Pro Dealer/Independent Distribution segment. The Inside Sales Professional generates leads, builds relationships, analyzes markets, makes data driven recommendations and decisions and provides customer focused service. Key customers in this segment include; Ace Hardware, Do It Best, Cameron Ashely, LBM Advantage, LMC, Orgill, Sherwin Williams, and independent dealers throughout the US. Work location outside of the Chicago Corporate office may be considered based on candidate knowledge, skills and experience and will be at the discretion of the hiring manager.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Grow volume and sales with assigned Co-ops, Distributors, Specialty Dealers, and National Account Customers by driving USG value proposition • Develop customer relationships by being proactive, follow-up and having industry and product knowledge. • Pro-actively contacts assigned customers to strengthen relationship, follow-up on sales activities and address issues promptly • Participates in customer/contractor events, requires travel over weekends • Responds and follow-up to customer inquiries and complaints promptly. • Visits customers in the market as needed • Ensures data in Salesforce.com meets requirements, up-to-date, accurate and organized. • Collaborates to seek resolution efficiently and effectively.

• Leader, Self-starter and proficient with technology • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team environment and deal effectively with various internal and exterior customers. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Detail-orientated • Excellent follow-up skills • High-energy, • Well organized • Proven problem-solving skills to address customer issues and concerns • Education, Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, English or related area or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Work Experience • Previous experience in a customer focused role preferred Other • Willing to relocate outside of the Chicago market for future potential positions.
PLEASE NOTE: This position does require at least 2 days a week being worked from the corporate office.
Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
