CGC Inc. is currently recruiting for a Joint Treatment Operator for our gypsum plant, based in Hagersville, Ontario.
It's a permanent and full-time position, offering a challenging opportunity for a motivated individual to demonstrate their skills and abilities in a manufacturing operation within a large corporation.
Under the guidance of the Joint Treatment Supervisor II, the Joint Treatment Operator conducts the daily operations of the Ready Mix, Dry-Joint and Textone lines. The successful candidate will train on the eight different positions in the operator rate program. Each position requires the successful completion of the LEAN operator requirements.

Additional responsibilities of the Production Operator include:
- Assisting with the manufacturing of all products in the Joint Treatment Department.
- Assisting with the implementation of the RPM Program including supporting, scheduling and maintaining all rules and procedures related to the Joint Treatment department’s RPM initiative.
- Assisting in the implementation of USG Model Programs, Safety Rules, VWIs/JSA’s and Standard Operating Procedures, as required.
- Assisting in the implementation of LEAN Management System across the Joint Treatment Department, including participation in 5S events, Reflection Meetings, Gemba walks etc.
- Exercising personal safety, promoting and enforcing safety among crew members.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Experience in a manufacturing/mining environment preferred
- Demonstrates problem-solving skills and the ability to work as a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must be a people and results-oriented individual who incorporates and emphasizes safety and quality in all aspects of the daily work environment.
