Financial Administrator

The Plant Financial Shared Services Administrator is responsible for the following:
Hourly payrate $29.42 - $36.77 per hour.
- Assists with the activities and operations of administrative services in the areas of general administration, financial analysis, and business support for a large manufacturing facility consisting of multiple business units.
- Works as a liaison between the plant and external resources including FP&A, Audit, and some basic regulatory reporting as needed
- Backup for weekly payroll duties and reporting with the Kronos time-keeping system and related software
- Manages plant AP issues including receipt and invoicing activity, and working with internal and external parties on resolving invoice issues
- Performs month-end closing activities, financial documentation filing/ maintenance and work with internal and external audit as required.
- Performs PO receiving, handles blanket PO’s, requisitions of materials via purchase orders, fixes PO errors and helps to train plant employees on proper methodology
- Supports departments with Bill of Materials and production reporting issues
- Handles the accrual rebuild report and PO receipt write offs
- May be required to work with suppliers on invoicing and other related issues
- Performs GL entries and balances GL accounts to ensure accuracy
- Helps to perform and reconcile/troubleshoot inventory counts and perform variance analyses on counts
- Creates analysis reports for management regarding various cost, efficiency, and inventory trends.
- Works on basic projects and assists with backfilling other administrative tasks as necessary
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong mathematical and analysis skills.
- Must be detail-orientated and self-motivated.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel & Word.
- Skilled Experience with Oracle a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior accounting or intensive bookkeeping experience strongly encouraged.
- Continuous Improvement experience is a plus.
Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
