Production Operator

Role & Responsibilities:
· Adhere to all safety/housekeeping requirements within a plant warehouse setting.
· Responsible for operating production equipment.
· Responsible for recording production data and quality results in a manner required.
· Attention to detail, including the recording of shipping data and other results.
· Troubleshoot and apply basic maintenance skills to help service equipment.
· Expected to take an active role in all plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as required by supervision.
· Assist with inventories as needed.
· Adaptable to scheduling changes including assignment of overtime, weekend work, etc.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Able to work in a manufacturing environment in a safe manner and follow all plant safety and housekeeping rules.
· Ability to learn to operate and troubleshoot plant equipment.
· Ability to interpret verbal and written work instructions.
· Ability to apply basic computer skills required for dats entry and production reporting.
· Proficiency at taking measurements needed to ensure product meets specifications.
· Possess basic maintenance skills including the use of basic hand tools.
· Effective and positive teamwork and communication skills needed with all co-workers.
· Ability to take direct instructions from supervisor.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Additional Information:
· Shift: Days - Current regular schedule is Monday – Thursday 5:30 am – 4:00 pm, plus occasional required overtime.
Hourly Pay: $26.70
Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
