Job Title: Manufacturing Development Lead
Pay Rate: $65,160-$86,880 Annually
This position is a ‘hands-on' training assignment within a manufacturing plant environment with immediate responsibility, including "troubleshooting" plant engineering or production problems, researching and utilizing opportunities to enhance operations, and implementing capital expenditures programs for new or modernized facilities and equipment. This position is designed to provide the incumbent with broad manufacturing exposure for positions of greater responsibility. MDL’s can move into future positions such as Plant Department Managers or Plant Managers. Opportunities for growth can also emerge in other areas – such as marketing, sales, logistics, HR, quality, and general management. Future assignments will likely involve relocation to other plant locations within the first 3 years.
Role & Responsibilities:
· Assists in the monitoring and execution of the plant safety program and OSHA requirements.
· Assists Department Managers with various facility preparation and planning efforts to support daily operations. Completes administrative tasks as needed for the position.
· Assists Department Manager with process improvement opportunities, continuous improvement initiatives, LEAN ecosystems, and strategic development within the department.
· Assists Department Manager with workforce development, training, succession, and engagement within the department.
· Prepares and completes assigned capital authorities and job sheet requests. Supervises external contractors on the completion of work in a Project Manager role.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Qualified candidates will have attained a bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
· Strong leadership aptitude is needed along with desire to manage and develop others.
· Good communication skills are a must to engage and build rapport and collaborate well.
· Results oriented with an ability and desire to solve problems and find effective solutions.
· Must be organized and have the ability to multi-task and prioritize well.
· Applicants must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
· Minimum GPA of 2.50 required.
· Graduation Date: May 2025 or earlier

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
